Holmes rebound phenomenon : ウィキペディア英語版 | Holmes rebound phenomenon
The Holmes Rebound phenomenon is a sign of cerebellar disease. There are two ways of eliciting the sign: 1. With patient having their arms outstretched, you ask the patient to keep their arms in that position as you press down on their arm. As you release your hand, their arm shoots up above the position it originally was and bounces up. 2. Flex the patients elbow. Ask the patient to keep their arm in that position as you pull away, when you release the arm, the arm will hit the patient's body.
